This armored vehicle is on display in the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center near Butlerville, Indiana. It is not on display in a public area, so do not attempt to enter the facility without permission. Our photos were taken during the annual MUTC open house event that is open to the public.
This variant of the Type 63 was exported to the Iraqi Army in the 1980s for use in the Iran-Iraq War. What remains of a cradle for a Type 54 machine gun (Chinese copy of the Soviet DShK) is mounted on the top of the vehicle.
